Lollipop Science is the first lab of the year for me and the kids love it! Students observe their lollipop, make predictions about how long they think it will take to dissolve based on prior knowledge, eat it and answer questions about NGSS Crosscutting Concepts, variables, hypothesis and compare data with their neighbors. It’s easy prep, Google Ready, with teacher directions and the key is included. The only thing you need to purchase are the lollipops. I usually buy Dum Dums because they are inexpensive and they are smaller so it doesn’t take too long to dissolve.
