First Day of School Editable Classroom Scavenger Hunt Back to School Activity



This product is a great way to introduce your students to the layout of your classroom and how your class runs like a well-oiled machine! Rather than talking the first day, it gets the students out of their seats in an interactive and collaborative way. When you buy it, a few questions are specific to my classroom, but because it’s a Microsoft Word Document and a Google Slideshow you can easily change the questions.

What Students Do:

-Students answer editable questions on a printable or Google slideshow about your classroom and syllabus.

Example questions:

  • “Where’s the bathroom pass?”
  • “Where do you find out what tonight’s homework is?”
  • “Look at your syllabus, how long do you have to make up absent work?”
  • “Where are the emergency exits?”
  • “Look at your syllabus, what are the classroom rules for cell phones?”

What the Teacher does:

-Saves his/her voice!

-Is not on stage doing all the talking.

-Sits back and watches the students do all the work!
